- A stylish fabric (with the design of your choice)
- Staple gun filled with 3/4-inch staples
- 1.8 density foam (4 inches in length)
- 4 legs of table with hanger bolts
- 4 quick mount surface plates (complete with screws)
- Tape Measure
Procedures On How To Make An Upholstered Ottoman:
1.) Cut the plywood according to your specifications. From each corner, measure 6 inches using your tape measure and mark each.
2.) Place the mounting brackets on each mark that you made. Affix the brackets on the plywood through the use of screws.
3.) Next, you have to screw all four legs. Tighten each screw until they are secure.
4.) Place the ottoman in an upright position. Paste the 1.8 density foam on top of the ottoman using glue. Let dry until the foam is glued securely.
5.) Get the fabric and the batting, turn them on their wrong sides, and layer them on a flat surface. Ensure that your materials are properly centered. Turn the ottoman over and place the foam in the center of the batting. Carefully attach the batting using the staple gun to the plywood after folding through the edges. After the batting, it is now time to staple your decorative fabric to the plywood. See to it that the fabric is stern, but not too much. Keep the fabric smooth as you staple the edges. Fold the edges if necessary or you could simply cut the excess.
6.) Turn the ottoman upright again and admire your finished product.
